Barbara Hollis-Shingler
Barbara Hollis Shingler, MBA, is a Co-Author, Speaker and founder of Hollis & Shingler Financial Coaching Essentials. She also is a key advisor to Tomorrow’s Promise Foundation, Inc., a registered 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.
She has been affiliated with American Express Financial, Ameriprise, TransAmerica, New York Life and Thrivent Financial. She has taught economics and statistics at the University level. She also hosts a variety of financial and women’ workshops and seminars.
Her investment philosophy is to make money over time, not overnight. She believes in long-term investing with an emphasis on quality and diversification. She is a graduate of Coppin State University (BS) Baltimore, MD, a Historically Black college, and earned her MBA at Columbia University, New York, NY.
Aaron Shingler
Aaron Shingler, MBA, Author, Speaker, Hall of Fame Athlete (Basketball), former corporate, investment Banker and Central Federal Reserve Banker of New York. One of the original founders for the Association African Americans Financial Advisors (AAAA). His work has been highlighted in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Black Enterprise, INC Magazine, Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, Florida Times Union and others.
He has raised millions of dollars for franchised business and faith-based church organizations.
He is a graduate of Historically Black colleges Howard University (BS) Washington DC and Morgan State University (MBA) Baltimore, Maryland.
