Meridian Management Group, (MMG) a professional asset manager of economic development and private equity funds, manages the EPIP fund under the Maryland Department of Commerce offering affordable financing assistance. The program provides for a continuum of financial products through birth and growth stages of franchise businesses in the State of Maryland.
The purpose of the program is to support the growth and economic impact for Small, Minority, Women, and Veteran owned businesses (“SMWVB”) in the State of Maryland. It is also designed to help reduce the wealth gap for SMWVB owners.
Aaron & Barbara Shingler initially assisted MMG to develop the EPIP Franchise Fund and currently intend to assist in marketing and helping to place loans and investments to Minorities, Women and Veteran franchisees.
